Is biskoui free?​

Yes! biskoui is available in a free version. It's important for us to offer a solution to small businesses while introducing the concept of "Privacy By Design" at all levels.

biskoui offers 4 plans:

  • START Version: Free
  • BASIC Version: 9 CHF/month (excl. VAT)
  • PLUS Version: 29 CHF/month (excl. VAT)
  • PRO Version: 99 CHF/month (excl. VAT)

A 10% discount is applied to annual subscriptions.

What are the customizable graphic elements?​

In all versions, biskoui allows you to customize the banner in the following ways:

  • Text, background, and button colors
  • Font choices with 7 web-safe options
  • Button corner rounding

In PLUS and PRO versions, you will soon be able to apply your own CSS code for a fully customized integration.

What languages does biskoui support?​

In single-language mode, you can choose to display one of 7 languages:

  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • English
  • Spanish
  • Portuguese
  • Bulgarian

In multilingual mode, the banner will automatically display in the user's browser language. If the language is not in the list above, the banner will display in English.

What are the benefits of PREMIUM support?​

In PLUS and PRO subscriptions, we offer PREMIUM support.

In addition to email support, PREMIUM support gives you access to telephone support Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Your support cases will also be processed with priority.

How does the page view quota work?​

Each time a page is loaded on your site, biskoui counts one page view. The page view quota is reset to zero on the 1st of each month.

Consent data, being the most sensitive data managed by biskoui, is only stored with our hosting provider in Switzerland. Our hosting provider is a Swiss company that is not subject to the US CLOUD Act.

The various data protection laws are complex and require the advice of a qualified lawyer. The information provided in this section does not constitute legal advice.

What is the new Swiss Data Protection Act (nFADP)?​

Starting September 1, 2023, the new Federal Data Protection Act (nFADP) comes into force without a grace period. It improves the processing of personal data and grants new rights to Swiss citizens. This important legislative change also comes with a number of obligations for companies in the use of profiling services (most of which use cookies) as well as services hosting personal data outside Swiss territory.

What is the duration of consents?​

The duration of consent is limited to 13 months. At the expiration of this period, consent will be collected again.

What is the storage duration for consents?​

The consent registry consists of keeping a record of collected consents as legal proof. Therefore, biskoui stores your consents in the registry for an indefinite period.

Your consent registry will be automatically deleted under one of the following conditions:

  1. If you downgrade your subscription to a version that does not offer the consent registry functionality
  2. If you delete your domain from the biskoui administration console

It's important to note that we offer you the possibility to export your consent registry at any time, of course before deletion.

I have a Swiss company, do I need to comply with the European GDPR law?​

Despite your company being based in Switzerland and regardless of your hosting location, if visitors from the European Union (example: cross-border workers, prospects, or customers) visit your website, you are subject to the extraterritorial GDPR law. It is therefore recommended to subscribe to a PLUS or higher subscription if you are in this situation.

Can biskoui be easily installed on my site?​

Yes! biskoui has been developed to be implemented on any website. How does it work? After creating your domain, you just need to integrate the script provided in the dashboard tab of your domain on your site. Refresh the page and voilà, our banner appears on your site. You'll just need to configure the services and design.

Is biskoui only compatible with WordPress?​

No, biskoui can be installed on any website. But due to the popularity of WordPress technology, we have developed a plugin that makes installing biskoui ultra-easy on your WordPress site.

How can I integrate with Google Tag Manager?​

Nothing could be easier. When you add a service, we offer the choice to launch the service via biskoui or via Google Tag Manager. For services managed from Google Tag Manager, you'll just need to configure a trigger with the event provided by biskoui, which will be triggered when the user gives their consent for the specific service.
